Who are we?

There are two teams involved in this project. Sheffield and Glasgow

We are a group of doctors that have got together to try and address two problems in postgraduate eductaion.

DRCOG

Firstly we looked at the DRCOG examination. We run courses at both Sheffield and Glasgow. We appreciated that it may not always be possible for people to spend the time and money travelling and accommodation to a course. So we desigend the distance learning site for the written OSCE questions. This enables a course to be done at leisure.

The oral examination obviously cannot be done over the internet! So you will need to choose either Sheffield or Glasgow for the oral practice. Check the 'flyers' for the dates.

Continuing Medical Education

Then as a logical progression we recognised the needs of principals and partners in general practice for continuing professional development; that will become part of revalidation. We then designed the GP side of the site.

Currently the resources are focused on obstetrics and gynaecology.We are negotiating with other interested specialties to include other material at a later stage.
